Using a code
How to use a Hot Topic promo code
- 1Locate the Hot Topic items you want to purchase and put them in your virtual shopping bag by clicking the red “ADD TO BAG” button on those product pages.
- 2Once you are finished with your shopping, scroll over to the red shopping bag icon in the top right corner of the page. Ignore the “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT” button in favor of a small link that says “View Shopping Bag.”
- 3On the right side of the “Shopping Bag” page and under the “Order Summary” is a text box that says “Enter Promo Code.” Type or paste your code into this box and click the “APPLY” button. Your subtotal should update automatically.
- 4If you actually clicked the “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT” button instead of the “View Shopping Bag” link, don’t worry. Fill in your personal information and click the red “CONTINUE TO PAYMENT” button to move on.
- 5When you arrive at the “Checkout” page, look on the right side to find an area labeled “Order Adjustments” and type your Hot Topic promo code into the “Promo Code” box, and press the black “APPLY” button.
- 6Enjoy your Hot Topic savings!
