About Rain Bird
About Rain Bird
Keeping a lawn or garden properly watered without wasting water is harder than it sounds. Rain Bird has been solving that problem since 1933, making sprinklers, drip systems, timers, and controllers trusted by homeowners and professional landscapers alike. The brand is known for durable construction, easy installation, and a genuine commitment to water conservation built into how its products are engineered. For anyone tired of overwatering, underwatering, or babysitting a garden hose, a Rain Bird system tends to be a long-term fix.
Questions shoppers ask about Rain Bird
What is Rain Bird's return policy?
Rain Bird accepts unused merchandise returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Proof of purchase is required, and customers pay return shipping costs. Products purchased as a bundle must be returned together as a complete set rather than sent back as separate individual items.
Does Rain Bird offer a warranty?
Yes. Most Rain Bird landscape irrigation products include a three- or five-year trade warranty covering defects during normal use. Rain Bird repairs or replaces qualifying products at no charge. Damage caused by events such as lightning, flooding, or other acts of God falls outside the standard warranty coverage.
Does Rain Bird offer extended warranties?
Yes. Rain Bird offers optional extended warranties as a separate add-on purchase. Available coverage periods range from two to seven years, depending on the product and protection level selected. Review the available terms when purchasing, since eligibility, duration, and coverage details vary by item and chosen warranty plan.
Does Rain Bird's XFS-CV dripline have special warranty coverage?
Yes. Rain Bird provides a 16-year Root Intrusion Warranty for XFS-CV dripline used with compatible filters, pressure regulators, and control valves. The warranty covers replacement when root intrusion reduces an emitter's output flow by at least 50%, provided the installation meets the company's stated compatibility and coverage requirements.
