About Incogni
About Incogni
Our digital footprints are bigger than most of us realize. Every time you shop, sign up for a newsletter, or move to a new address, your personal information can end up in the hands of data brokers. Incogni steps in as your digital advocate. Using privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA, it contacts hundreds of brokers and requests the removal of your details. Think: addresses, phone numbers, even financial information. Instead of spending hours chasing each broker yourself, Incogni automates the process, helping you reduce spam, protect against identity theft, and regain a sense of privacy online.
Questions shoppers ask about Incogni
How does Incogni work?
Once you sign up, Incogni uses the details you provide to send official removal requests to data brokers on your behalf. It tracks responses and follows up automatically, so the process continues in the background while you go about your day.
How do I create an Icogni account?
The process is simple:
- Put in your relevant information, including an email address.
- Confirm your email address by clicking on the link.
- Create a password using the link you click on in your email.
- Provide personal information like name, address, city, state, postal code, and country.
- Complete and sign the authorization form that authorizes Incogni to do its work.
- Review the information.
- Select the Start Data Removal button to begin the process!
From there, the system begins contacting brokers and scrubbing your data.
Can I apply discounts at checkout?
Yes, if you’ve received a discount or referral code, you can enter it during checkout. The savings will apply automatically before payment is processed.
Here are specific steps to follow:
- Head to the pricing page.
- Choose your subscription.
- Enter the coupon code.
- Click the Apply button.
- Look for the discount under the order summary section.
- Select the Proceed to Payment button to finish the transaction.
What kind of warranty does Incogni offer?
The website offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. You cannot receive this guarantee if you purchase Incogni through resellers other than Paddle. That’s because resellers might have different refund terms.
