Frontier Airlines promo codes & deals

Frontier Airlines is a low-cost airline that travels to over 120 destinations in the U.S., Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. The company is well-known for its ultra-low fares and deals to popular destinations, as well as its kids fly free offer for members of its Discount Den program. Frontier Airlines helps keep ticket prices low through its "add-on" pricing structure. Passengers are charged additional fees for services such as seat selection, both carry-on and checked bags, and other booking upgrades.

The airline also stands out for its unique animal-themed aircraft tails, all-you-can-fly unlimited flight passes for flexible travelers, and commitment to green initiatives. It advertises itself as the most fuel-efficient U.S. airline with 43% fuel savings compared to competitors.

If you change your mind within 24 hours of booking with Frontier Airlines, you cancel your trip for a full refund and no cancellation fee, provided the booking was made for travel at least seven days in advance. For FRONTIER Miles members with Elite Status, there are no change or cancellation fees as long as the action occurs seven days or more before departure.

Otherwise, cancellation or change fees may apply if you need to adjust your booking. However, you may be able to apply the value of your ticket, excluding any fees or add-on charges, toward the purchase of a new ticket for future travel. For cancellations, there is a $99 fee. Change fees vary based on how far in advance you adjust your booking. For changes that occur 60 or more days before travel, there are no change fees.

Frontier offers a number of programs and offers to help travelers save on their upcoming and future travels. Like most airlines, there’s a miles rewards program, called FRONTIER Miles. But Frontier also has a paid membership club you can join annually for the best rates and savings.

FRONTIER Miles

By signing up for the fee FRONTIER Miles program, you’ll earn both Travel Miles and Elite Status Points for each dollar spent with Frontier Airlines, at participating travel partners and on purchases using the FRONTIER Airlines World Mastercard. Miles can be redeemed on flights, bags, seat selections and more. In addition to the base-level membership, there are four Elite Status tiers, which you can unlock by earning a specified amount of points within a calendar year. Each Elite Status level has unique extra member benefits, like no change/cancellation fees or free bags.

Discount Den Travel Club

In addition to its miles program, travelers can join the Frontier Airlines Discount Den for $59.99 per year (plus a $40 enrollment fee the first year). Members of this program are guaranteed to get the lowest fare rates and exclusive deals on flights. Your discount can be used for up to nine travelers within your reservation. Plus, kids under 15 fly free on select flights.
